Unblock Facebook in China

Tunneling Through the Great Firewall

12vpn vs. Strongvpn

July 2011 – You'll notice a lot of links that aren't working here on the site.  It seems that in recent weeks, The Great Firewall has had some serious updates, and many of the VPNs featured/reviewed are blocked (at least the sites are). This may not be for the entire country, but at least here in Fujian, many have been blocked.

Securitales is a Web Based Service that is not blocked.  A web based service is different from a VPN, but can also unblock sites in China.  The advantage of a Web based service over a VPN is that you don't have to download anything onto your computer. It works on iPhone, iPad and other smart phones as well as laptop and desktop operating systems like Mac, Windows, and Linux.

The most important thing right now is that it's NOT BLOCKED.

Check out Securitales at www.securitales.com.

I use 12vpn and despite having tried several other companies over the years, I will continue to use their service. However, in light of keeping up with what exactly is the best vpn in China, and keeping things updated here at Unblock Facebook In China .info, I tried Strongvpn out for a month. Here's my comparison of the two.

12VPN

$129 / 12 months

$35 / 3 months

StrongVPN

Lite 1/6/12 months…..$10/$60/$90

Standard 1/6/12 months…..$15/$90/$155

Delux 1/6/12 months…..$20/$120/$210

Prices go up to…..$180 / 6 months

How is StrongVPN better than 12VPN?

  • 1. More Options
  • 2. Live Suppot

Strongvpn is a great company. Whatever your vpn needs are, they have them. You can rely on them  for Twitter updates, blog updates, and a reliable vpn to get done what you need to get done, when you need it done.  They've got servers all over the world, thousands of IP addresses to choose from, and well,  the support and service that comes with such a popular company.

12vpn may be a smaller and younger company, but they've got a great support team (even though it's not live support.  If you run into any problems with you vpn, they are always happy to help.  Though at first glance it may seem like they have fewer options available, they do offer vpn servies for a range of devices – basically everything you could every need.  There is only one price plan available, but it includes about 20 server locations that you can switch between freely, at no extra cost (Strong vpn charges you).
